First Poster for Avatar: Fire and Ash Unveiled

According to CinemaDrame news agency, Disney has released the first official poster for Avatar: Fire and Ash, announcing that the film’s trailer will debut in theaters this week ahead of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The trailer was originally shown behind closed doors at CinemaCon this past April and a low-quality leak surfaced online last week.
Fire and Ash introduces the Ash People, a tribe representing a more peace-seeking side of Pandora, and sworn enemies of the Fire People. In this installment, Jake Sully and his family ally with the oceanic Metkayina clan to fight against the RDA (Resources Development Administration).
In the trailer, Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is seen telling Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña): “We can’t live like this, my love. We can’t live with this hate.”
In addition to Avatar 3, two more sequels—Avatar 4 and Avatar 5—are currently in development, scheduled for release in December 2029 and December 2031, respectively. Last year, James Cameron mentioned that he has ideas for a sixth and seventh installment, though he may hand over directing duties for films beyond part four.
Avatar: The Way of Water, the second film in the saga, was made with a $400 million budget and grossed over $2 billion worldwide.
Avatar: Fire and Ash is set to hit theaters on December 19, 2025.
